The Analyst/Senior Analyst, Quantitative Risk position will consist of providing quantitative risk support to risk professionals in Houston and London, and more generally assisting the Manager of Quantitative Risk in their efforts to lead the global quant risk team.

The global risk department covering both Houston and London under the leadership of the Chief Risk Officer is expanding. The role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general quantitative risk support and advice including, in particular, colleagues in the market and credit risk teams. The role will effectively assist the Quant Risk Manager in the London office.

  • Building and maintaining complex risk models or tools required to understand and analyze credit, market or liquidity risk.
  • Ensuring that the representation of complex transactions in systems of record provides a fair picture of the associated risks.

The role

You will be replacing an experienced Risk Analyst in our Zug office.  RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report and explain profit movements, mark-to-market, positions and Risk Values on a daily basis for trading desks with reference to prices, correlations and position changes.
  • Understand key price indices used by the desk and the construction of forward curves. Maintain and evaluate quantitative market data including price series from brokers, 3rd parties and trader assessments, volatilities, correlations and volumes.
